Seaside Trails - 2 days trek

Day 1: Arrival & Ride to Sidi Kaouki

Accommodation: Guesthouse in Sidi Kaouki

Pick-up at 9:30 am at the gates of Essaouira’s old town.

Departure from the stables after the introductino of the team, riders and horses, riding through argan forests, sand dunes, endless beaches and dramatic cliffs along the coast.

Enjojy lunch at a traditional Moroccan restaurant overlooking the stunning Bay.

In the afternoon, continue to Sidi Kaouki, where we end the ride with the famous mint tea and sweets. Dinner will be served in the guesthouse, followed by a relaxed evening together.



Day 2: Coastal Villages & Sandy Gallops

Departure from Sidi Kaouki, riding through the countryside and traditional villages.Lunch is a picnic, either in the shade of eucalyptus trees or by the ocean with breathtaking views. 

A fast gallop on the wide sandy beach, adapted on your level of experience, is an absolute highlight - feel the freedom and the wind in your hair.

In the afternoon, continue along trails that wind through hidden valleys and dune corridors, offering glimpses of local wildlife and secluded beaches. Return to the stables by late afternoon, where you can relax and reflect on the beauty of the Atlantic coast before your transfer back to your accommodation.

Gallop by the waves - 3 days trek

Day 1: Arrival & Countryside Ride

Accommodation: Tent camp in Argana

Pick-up at 9:30 am at the gates of Essaouira’s old town.

Departure from the stables after the introductino of the team, riders and horses, the morning ride follows the course of a small river (oued) to reach the village of El Ghazoua, before winding through the Moroccan countryside along narrow trails and argan tree forests.

Lunch is served in a scenic field, freshly prepared by the team. In the afternoon, continue through several traditional Berber villages, stopping at a women’s cooperative to discover the art of argan oil production, honey, and amlou, with a tasting of local specialties.

The day ends at your first desert-like camp in Argana, surrounded by argan trees. Overnight in a tent under the stars.



Day 2: Villages, Valleys & Sandy Trails

Accommodation: Tent camp in Sidi Kaouki

After breakfast, ride through small Berber villages, lush valleys, and colorful fields, absorbing the vibrant hues of the countryside. Lunch is a picnic near a natural spring, where horses can refresh themselves.

In the afternoon, the terrain gradually changes to sandy trails as you approach the coast. The path leads to the cascades of Sidi Embark, with breathtaking views of the ocean framed by dunes.

The ride continues along the beach, with the chance for exciting gallops on open sand. Dramatic cliffs rise on one side while the waves crash on the other, before reaching the evening camp in Sidi Kaouki. Overnight in a tent.



Day 3: Beach, Dunes & Forest Ride to Essaouira

Start the day with breakfast overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, then set off along the beach towards Essaouira. Pass the Marabout in the northern part of Sidi Kaouki, then ride across the region’s unique large sand dunes, enjoying a few gallops along the way.

You will cross a small fishing village before heading towards a cliffside Berber village with panoramic ocean views. Picnic lunch is served at a quiet creek, perfect for a refreshing swim.

The afternoon trail follows a sandy coastal path towards the lighthouse at Cap Sim, then winds down through the dunes, giving a surreal impression of desert landscapes right next to the sea. Small fishing villages dot the coast before entering a forest of eucalyptus and mimosas near Diabat, where you can see the ruins of the Sultan’s former palace.

Return to the stables in the late afternoon, followed by a transfer back to Essaouira, concluding the ride.

Coastal Horizons - 4 days trek

Day 1: Countryside & Argan Forests

Accommodation: Tent camp in Argana

Pick-up at 9:30 am at the gates of Essaouira’s old town.

Departure from the stables after the introductino of the team, riders and horses, the morning ride winds along a gentle oued and crosses the charming village of El Ghazoua, before venturing into the Moroccan countryside on narrow tracks through argan forests and olive groves.

Lunch is served in the shade of the trees, freshly prepared by the team. In the afternoon, continue through several Berber villages and stop at a women’s cooperative to discover argan oil, honey, and amlou, tasting local products along the way.

The day ends at your first tented camp in Argana, where you spend the night beneath one of the oldest and largest argan trees in the area, surrounded by the peaceful countryside.



Day 2: From Villages to Coastal Dunes

Accommodation: Tent camp at Takaouchte

After breakfast, ride through more argan forests, cultivated fields, and small Berber villages, observing local life and the changing landscape. Lunch is served in the shade of an argan grove.

In the afternoon, the terrain gradually shifts to sandy trails and dunes, bringing you closer to the Atlantic coast. Enjoy the excitement of cantering along open dunes and the beach as the ocean appears in the distance.

Arrive in the late afternoon at your cliff-top camp in Takaouchte, overlooking the Atlantic, where you can enjoy traditional mint tea and sweets and the sunset over the sea with before dinner and overnight in a tent.


 

Day 3: Coastal Views & Fishing Villages

Accommodation: Tent camp on a seaside plateau

Ride along spectacular coastal cliffs with breathtaking views over the ocean, heading toward the small fishing village of Iftane. Gallop along the wide sandy beaches before climbing a hill for a scenic lunch spot.

In the afternoon, continue through inland Berber villages, crossing fields and small beaches, before reaching the fishing village of Sidi Kaouki. Camp is set on a small plateau with panoramic views of the coastline, perfect for an evening of relaxation.



Day 4: Beach, Dunes & Forests to Essaouira

After breakfast by the ocean, ride along the beach towards Essaouira, passing the Marabout in northern Sidi Kaouki. Ride across vast sand dunes unique to this region, enjoying the chance for gallops along the way.

Continue past a small fishing village and ascend to a cliffside Berber village overlooking the Atlantic. Picnic lunch is served at a secluded creek, ideal for a swim.

The afternoon trail winds along a sandy coastal path, descending the dunes with the feeling of desert landscapes just steps from the sea. Pass tiny fishing settlements before entering a forest of eucalyptus and mimosas near Diabat, and see the ruins of the Sultan’s former palace.

Return to the stables in the late afternoon, followed by a transfer back to Essaouira, concluding the ride.

Between Cliffs & Waves - 7 days Trek

Day 1: Arrival in  Essaouira
Accommodation: Hotel/Riad

Arrival in Essaouira, the charming coastal town known for its whitewashed houses, blue shutters, and sea breeze.Upon arrival, meet your local team and transfer to your riad located in the heart of the old medina. Take some time to relax, wander through the narrow alleys, and soak in the calm rhythm of this Atlantic gem.
In the evening, enjoy a welcome dinner with your fellow riders and guides, as you prepare for the adventure that awaits along Morocco’s breathtaking coastline. 

(Please note: depending on local conditions, the itinerary may be adjusted or run in reverse to ensure the best experience.)


Day 2: Essaouira – Assaka – Tililte (Approx. 2 hours riding)
Accommodation: Gîte or stay with a local family

After breakfast, meet your guide in the hotel lobby at 9:30 am for your transfer to Assaka (around 2,5 hours). Upon arrival, lunch will be served before you meet your horses and start a short introductory ride to find your perfect match.
The trail leads through forests of thuya and argan trees, across varied terrain of sand and rock, before reaching the wild beach of Sidi Kaouki – your first exhilarating canter along the Atlantic.
Dinner and overnight stay with a local family or in a rural gîte.


Day 3: Tililte – Tafedna (Approx. 6 hours riding)
Accommodation: Gîte or stay with a local family

After grooming and saddling your horse, set off along ocean-view trails that wind down rocky paths and open into long sandy stretches, perfect for cantering.
Pass small fishing villages where the rhythm of coastal life remains unchanged. Lunch will be served near the beach, followed by an afternoon ride towards Tafedna Bay. Here, you can cool off your horse in the sea before settling into a charming seaside village for the night.


Day 4: Tafedna – Iftane (Approx. 4.5 hours riding)
Accommodation: Gîte or stay with a local family

Today’s route follows dramatic cliffside trails with breathtaking views over the Atlantic Ocean. Stop for photos and enjoy the refreshing sea breeze before descending toward the dunes and vast beaches below.
The afternoon invites for another exhilarating gallop along the empty shoreline before reaching your next coastal camp near Iftane.

 

Day 5: Iftane – Sidi Kaouki (Approx. 5 hours riding)
Accommodation: Gîte or stay with a local family

Ride along the cliffs and through the dunes on your way to Sidi Kaouki, where another unforgettable gallop awaits on one of Morocco’s most beautiful beaches.
Lunch will be enjoyed in the shade of argan trees, followed by a relaxed afternoon trail through wadis and green fields before returning to the coast.


Day 6: Sidi Kaouki – Ghazoua – Essaouira (Approx. 2 hours riding)
Accommodation: Riad Maison du Sud

Your final ride takes you once more along the beach before heading inland through forests of thuya trees towards the small village of Ghazoua.
After a farewell lunch with the team and horses, transfer to Essaouira. Spend the afternoon exploring the charming medina or relaxing by the sea before dinner at your riad.


Day 7: Essaouira

A relaxed morning in Essaouira – wander through the narrow streets, visit local artisans, or enjoy the beach one last time, celebrating the memories of your Moroccan adventure.
